Elle and Belle a tale with no rise and fall is a fabricated myth about a twin. Their virgin mother gives birth to them in a post-apocalyptic forest. The mother dies right after that and the girls grow up like seeds of a plant in the soil.
Afterwards their life goes thorough wandering in the forest. At last, they find holes on the ground, each of them jumps in a different hole that brings them to two different underground worlds, underwater and stone caves. They pass their path in a symmetric way and finally both of them find a guide who tells them they can escape by waiting on the top of a volcano and waiting for it to erupt. Finally, they get out of down there in a same time by two volcano eruptions.
There is an Irony in the installation’s name, all the story is about falling and rising and falling, there is no drama or specific intention. It is a hero’s journey type with a doubled hero who just passes her way out.
